Philadelphia cream cheese is a popular product among food lovers. It is perfect for creating rich, smooth cheesecakes for any get-together or a special occasion. You can even try it on your baked dessert for tasty, delicious desserts like cheesecakes, cookies and cream cheese frosting. Each original Philadelphia cream cheese comes in an eight-ounce serving.

The authentic Philadelphia cream cheese has a smooth and velvety texture that makes it melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It contains no fat, hydrogenated oil, sugar or salt and is completely lactose-free. The cheeses are made from 100% dairy and milk and are completely safe for those who are lactose intolerant.

To make a delicious dessert, all you need is a box of the authentic Philadelphia cream cheese, some softened or skimmed milk, two tablespoons of vanilla extract, one tablespoon of powdered sugar and a half a cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix all these ingredients together until they form a smooth paste and then place into a plastic zipper bag. Zip the bag and then refrigerate it. The freezing process will help solidify the mixture so that you can use a rubber ring to hold the open top of the bag.

Making full fat cream cheese frostings for cupcakes is quite simple. You just need to melt the two cups of cream cheese, approximately two ounces of milk, one and a half teaspoons of vanilla extract and approximately three to four tablespoons of powdered sugar. Once the mixture is completely melted, stir in a quarter teaspoon of the vanilla extract and combine until smooth.

Next you need to line a baking sheet with uncooked, unsalted cold cream cheese. Spread half a teaspoon of cream cheese on one side of each cupcake, followed by a half a teaspoon of the powdered sugar and a quarter teaspoon of the vanilla extract. You should have about twenty-two cupcakes. Bake the cupcakes at 350 until the tops start to turn out and then remove them. Place them onto your baking sheet and allow them to cool.

When your cupcakes are cooled, turn them over and frost the tops with a little of the leftover cream cheese. You can add decorations if you wish, such as pieces of lace. It is best to keep the decorations for another time. Once all the cupcakes are frosted, sprinkle a tiny bit of salt over each one and bake them in the oven for approximately twenty-five minutes. Remove them and then let them cool off.

Now it is time to assemble your beautiful Philadelphia Cream Cheese cake. Start by lining a cupcake tin with two small pieces of wax paper. Then spread a little bit of cream cheese over both sides of the tin and stick two pieces of the uncooked cake into each piece of wax paper. Frost the cake and place it into the tin. Frost the remaining cake and gently tilt it until it is level with the countertop.

The finished product will look something like this: You will have created an amazing looking cheesecake. Using a food color spray or food coloring pencil, you can create different colors that will enhance the appearance of your cake. Using a food paint brush, you can create designs on the cake and cover it all with your Philadelphia cream cheese frosting and powdered sugar. Put this beauty on your cake and let everyone taste it! Happy baking!

If you are planning on serving carrot cake with your Philadelphia cream cheese frosting, there are a few things you should know in advance. First, if you have either cream cheese or powdered sugar on hand, you do not need to worry about eliminating it before serving. Simply mix both frostings together and frost your dessert as you normally would. If however, you do not have either on hand, you can substitute them for fruits such as blueberries or raspberries.

If you wish to serve strawberries instead of carrot cake, simply substitute the powdered sugar (or fruit) for the cream cheese. You will also want to add a pinch of vanilla extract to your cup butter mixture. This will dramatically enhance the flavor of your dessert.

There are a number of other recipes that can be altered to help make these cupcakes extra special. For example, if you would like to have lemon zest flavored Philadelphia cream cheese frosting, simply add the zest to your powdered sugar. Allow it to cool and then use a food processor to liquefy it until it has the consistency of whipped cream. Then simply use your hands to frost your cupcakes as you normally would. If you decide to add a dose of vanilla extract to your desserts, you may want to add about half a teaspoon so that it doesn’t become too overpowering.
